3. Riding Risks and User Responsibility

AIRTRICK products are powered personal electric mobility products. Riding involves risks including loss of balance, falls, collisions, property damage, serious injury, and death.

Before riding, users should:

• Wear a properly fitted helmet, wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads, and suitable closed-toe footwear
• Inspect the wheels, straps, fasteners, heel brake, battery, remote control, and charging components
• Practice mounting, balance, acceleration, turning, and braking at low speed
• Begin on a dry, flat, smooth, open surface away from traffic, pedestrians, obstacles, slopes, and water
• Maintain a safe speed and sufficient stopping distance
• Stop using the product if any component is damaged, loose, unusually hot, swollen, wet, or behaving abnormally

Do not ride while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication that affects coordination, or while distracted.

Children and inexperienced riders should use the product only with appropriate adult supervision.

Do not assume that a stated water-resistance rating means the product is waterproof. Avoid riding, storing, or charging the product in rain, standing water, or wet conditions unless the instructions for the applicable model expressly permit it.

Water damage, corrosion, impact damage, and damage caused by unsuitable riding conditions may not be covered by the limited warranty.

AIRTRICK products contain rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

Use only the charger specified for the applicable product model. Do not use an incompatible, modified, damaged, or so-called universal charger.

Charge the product in a dry, ventilated location on a stable, nonflammable surface. Keep the product away from heat sources, direct sunlight, flammable materials, children, and pets while charging.

Do not charge the product while sleeping or when no responsible person is present. Disconnect the charger after charging is complete.

Stop charging and move away from the product if you notice swelling, leaking, smoke, unusual heat, unusual odor, sparks, or abnormal sounds. Do not open, crush, puncture, modify, or improperly dispose of the battery.

Follow applicable local requirements for lithium-ion battery recycling and disposal.

Customers should obtain confirmation directly from the relevant carrier before travelling with or shipping an AIRTRICK product.

AIRTRICK is not responsible for refusal, confiscation, delay, additional charges, or other losses resulting from a carrier’s decision or applicable transportation rules.
