FAQ
-
What's the difference between A1-PRO and A1-ULTRA?
-
A1 PRO tops out at 15mph (25km/h) with 9 miles (15km) of range — solid for short commutes. A1 ULTRA goes 20mph (32km/h) with 15.5 miles (25km), has more torque for hills, and charges in 1.5 hours instead of 3. Both have LED wheels, the same frame size, and fit US men's 5-14.
-
What shoe sizes do they fit?
-
One size fits US men's 5-14 / women's 6-14 (EU 37-47). The heel cup rotates to lock in different foot lengths, and two Velcro straps keep your shoe secure. Wear your own sneakers — no need to take them off.
-
Can I take them on a plane?
-
Yes — each shoe has a 100Wh lithium battery, right at the TSA carry-on limit. Throw them in your backpack or carry-on. Just don't check them in luggage; lithium batteries must go in the cabin.
-
Are they waterproof? Can I ride in the rain?
-
IPX6 rated — they handle rain spray and wet roads fine. That said, wet surfaces reduce grip, so take it easy your first few rides in the rain. Not designed for submersion.
-
What's the maximum weight capacity?
-
330lbs (150kg) for both models. The carbon fiber composite frame handles it with no issues.
-
Can the battery be removed? How long does it last?
-
The battery is built-in and not meant for quick removal — it's sealed under the frame for protection. It lasts about 1,000 charge cycles, which is over 3 years with daily charging. So you won't need to worry about it anytime soon.
-
How long does charging take?
-
A1 PRO takes about 3 hours with the included charger. A1 ULTRA comes with a fast charger that does it in 1.5 hours. Both work on 110-240V worldwide.
-
How do I control the speed? How do I brake?
-
Handheld remote — push forward to accelerate, pull back to brake. Four speed modes: Lo (6mph), Mi (9mph), Hi (15mph), Pro (20mph on Ultra only). For backup, there's also a rubber stopper at the heel — lift your toes to engage it. Start in Lo mode to get the feel.
-
How do I turn them on and off?
-
Give the rear wheel a quick spin — two beeps and they're on. After 3 minutes of no use, they shut off automatically. There's also a small manual switch near the charging port.
-
Are they hard to learn?
-
Most people get comfortable in 30-60 minutes. Start in Lo mode (6mph) on flat open ground with a helmet and pads. If you've skated before, you'll pick it up even quicker.
-
Do they have suspension?
-
No separate suspension system — the PU wheels absorb small bumps and road cracks on their own. They're built for paved roads and bike lanes, not off-road.
-
How long does shipping take? Are customs duties included?
-
Orders ship within 48 hours. Delivery takes 10-12 business days worldwide by air freight. The price already includes customs duties and taxes — no extra fees when it arrives.
-
What's the warranty? Can I buy spare parts?
-
12-month warranty covering motor, battery, and electronics. Normal wear isn't covered. Spare parts like straps, stoppers, chargers, and foot pads are available in our accessories store. For other parts, email [email protected].
-
Can I return them if I don't like them?
-
Once shipped, we can't accept returns due to international shipping and customs costs. Double-check your sizing and address before ordering. If there's a defect, the warranty covers it — just email us.
